Two days of silence is a trigger, not a task.
The No reply trigger starts a workflow when your last message has gone unanswered for the number of days you choose. From there you decide the sequence: how many follow-ups, written by AI or from your templates, how far apart, and what happens when a reply finally comes in. Not interested, do-not-contact or a booked meeting stop it on their own.
50 free credits · no credit card · about ten minutes on the canvas
Smart Follow-ups already chase a quiet thread inside each inbox agent. Some teams want more control: a fixed third message, a Slack nudge to the rep before the last attempt, or a different sequence per campaign. That is what a follow-up workflow is for.
How the No-reply follow-ups workflow runs
One trigger, then each step in order. Every step has its own delay, and every outcome has somewhere to go.
No reply after a few days
Starts when your last message has had no reply for the days you set, anywhere from half a day to 60. The default is two.
- 1
Follow-up
The next LinkedIn message, written by AI in the context of the thread or taken from a fixed template. Each step has its own delay in days, hours or minutes.
- 2
Follow-up
A second nudge three days later. A fixed template here costs no credits.
- 3
Notify on Slack
Tell the rep the lead has gone quiet twice, before the last attempt goes out.
- 4
Branch
When a reply arrives, route on it: positive goes to Understand & Reply with Calendar, not interested sets a label and ends, anything unplanned takes the fallback path so no reply is dropped.
Build it on the canvas
Start from an empty canvas, pick the trigger, add the steps above and connect each outcome. Test it on a real lead without sending anything, then publish. About ten minutes.
- Follow-ups that read like the same person wrote them, because the agent has the whole thread
- Silence after a not interested, every time
- Which attempt each lead is on, on the canvas
- A Slack heads-up before the final nudge
- Runs that stop themselves on a booked meeting or a manual reply from your side
- HeyReach connected for the LinkedIn account
- An inbox agent for the replies that come back
No-reply follow-ups questions
How is this different from Smart Follow-ups?
Smart Follow-ups is a setting on each inbox agent: pick one to five attempts and the agent chases quiet threads on its own. A follow-up workflow is a sequence you design on the canvas, with your own timing, templates, Slack steps and branches. Most teams start with Smart Follow-ups and build a workflow when they need more control.
What stops a follow-up workflow?
A reply, for a start: the run moves to your Branch step. It also stops on not interested or do-not-contact, when a meeting is booked, when someone on your side replies by hand, and at the workspace limits, 12 messages or 90 days by default.
Does every follow-up cost a credit?
Only messages written by AI use credits. A follow-up taken from a fixed template is free, and so are Wait, Branch, Slack, label and CRM steps.
Can the messages be reviewed first?
Yes. Any send step can wait for approval in the app, in Slack, or by email, and an approved message is withdrawn if a time it offered has already passed.
Does this work on email?
The No reply trigger and the Follow-up step are for LinkedIn conversations through HeyReach. Quiet email threads are handled by Smart Follow-ups on the inbox agent.
